Privacy Policy
SiDomino is a dominoes game (Dominican partner dominoes) for iPhone, iPad, Android, Windows and Mac. It is run by Leurys Feliz, an individual developer in the United States ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the app and our servers handle, and why. We never sell your personal data or share it for advertising. Questions: privacy@sidomino.com.
Playing offline
Games against the computer, Practice, the Score tab (which keeps score of games played at a real table) and all your settings stay on your device. Nothing about them is sent to us. Uninstalling the app removes them.
Playing online with friends
You create or join a table with an invite link, a code or a QR code. While you play, our server on Cloudflare (Cloudflare Workers and Durable Objects) relays the game messages between the players' devices: moves, seats, the table name you type and the knocking-hand skin tone you chose.
Other players at the table see your table name, and it also becomes your account's display name. A room is forgotten after 6 idle hours, and we don't keep the game's content after that.
Voice chat
Voice chat is optional, in online rooms only. The host can turn it off and every player can mute. The app uses your microphone only with your device's permission, and only during voice chat.
Audio goes directly between the players' devices over an encrypted connection (WebRTC). When a direct connection isn't possible, the audio passes through Cloudflare's relay (TURN) servers, still encrypted. We never record or store voice.
Camera
The camera is used only to scan an invite QR code. The scan happens on your device. No images are sent or stored.
Your account
Opening an online table automatically creates a guest account, with no email. Our server on Microsoft Azure in the United States (App Service and a database) stores:
- a random account id
- your display name (one you choose, or a generated one like "Player 1234")
- your language and account type
- when the account was created and last seen
- for each device you sign in on: its platform (iOS, Android, Windows, Mac or web), its model (for example "Apple iPhone16,2", not the name you gave your device), the app version and sign-in times
Sign-in tokens are stored on our server only as one-way hashes. Your device keeps its token in the system's secure storage (such as the Keychain or the Android Keystore).
Signing in with email
Linking an email is optional and lets you reach the same account from other devices. If you do, we store your email address and send you a 6-digit code through Azure Communication Services (Microsoft). Codes are stored only as hashes, last 10 minutes and are deleted after use.
Contacting us
If you write to us, by email or with the contact form on sidomino.com, we receive your name, your email address, the topic you pick and your message. The form sends them to our mailbox by email, through Cloudflare; the website itself doesn't store them. We use them only to answer you and follow up, keep them in our mailbox (Gmail, by Google) for as long as that takes, and delete them when you ask.
Abuse protection
We use IP addresses to limit how many requests, codes or contact messages can be made. They are stored only as one-way hashes, in counters that expire within an hour. Our hosting providers may keep standard server logs.
How long we keep data
- Guest accounts unused for 180 days are deleted automatically.
- Ended device sessions are removed after 7 days.
- When you delete your account, it is deleted immediately: the account, your name, your email identity, your devices and your sessions.
- We keep only a record that an account was deleted (a one-way hash of its id and the date), to prove the deletion. It contains no personal data.
There are no purchases yet, so we hold no payment data.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account in the app (Settings, then Account, then Delete account), on the web at sidomino.com/delete-account with a code sent to your linked email, or by writing to privacy@sidomino.com from that email. A guest account has no email, so it can be deleted only from the app, or is deleted automatically after 180 days unused.
Service providers
- Microsoft Azure: accounts, the database and email codes.
- Cloudflare: online rooms, the voice relay, the website and its contact form.
- Google (Gmail): our mailbox for messages you send us.
- Apple and Google: the app stores that distribute the app.
Legal basis
If you are in the EU or the UK, we process your data to provide the service you ask for (contract) and for our legitimate interest in security and preventing abuse. Account data is processed in the United States.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to its use, or ask questions about it. You can rename yourself in Settings. Users in the EU and UK (GDPR), California (CCPA/CPRA) and elsewhere can exercise their rights by writing to privacy@sidomino.com. We answer within 30 days.
Children
SiDomino is for people 13 and older. It is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data. Parents can write to us to have a child's data deleted. Where local law sets a higher age for consent (16 in parts of the EU), you must be that age or have a parent's permission.
Security
Every connection uses HTTPS. Tokens and codes are stored as hashes, and our secrets are kept in a key vault. No system is perfectly secure.
Ads and analytics
SiDomino has no ads, no analytics, no tracking and no third-party SDKs that collect data. If we ever add analytics or ads, we will update this policy first, tell you in the app, and ask for your consent where required.
Changes
We will post updates on this page with a new effective date. For important changes, we will also tell you in the app.
